Design:
The iPhone 7 Plus has a similar design to its predecessor, the iPhone 6s Plus, with a 5.5-inch display and a metal unibody construction. However, Apple made a few changes to the design, including the removal of the antenna bands that were visible on the back of previous iPhone models. The iPhone 7 Plus also introduced two new colors: Jet Black and Black, in addition to the standard Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver options.
Camera:
One of the standout features of the iPhone 7 Plus is its dual-lens rear camera system, which includes a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. This allows for 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom, as well as some advanced features like Portrait mode, which uses depth-of-field effects to create professional-looking photos with blurred backgrounds. The front-facing camera is also a 7-megapixel sensor, which is an improvement over the 5-megapixel camera in the iPhone 6s Plus.
Performance:
The iPhone 7 Plus is powered by Apple's A10 Fusion chip, which is a quad-core processor with two high-performance cores and two energy-efficient cores. This allows for improved performance and better battery life compared to previous iPhone models. The device also includes 3GB of RAM, which is an increase from the 2GB in the iPhone 6s Plus.
Water resistance:
The iPhone 7 Plus is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, which means it can withstand being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. This is an improvement over the iPhone 6s Plus, which was not officially rated for water resistance.
Other features:
The iPhone 7 Plus also includes stereo speakers, which are located at the top and bottom of the device, and a new Tap tic Engine that provides haptic feedback when you touch the screen or use certain features. Apple also removed the physical home button and replaced it with a solid-state button that uses haptic feedback to simulate the sensation of pressing a button. Additionally, the iPhone 7 Plus launched with iOS 10, which introduced features like a redesigned Control Center, improved Siri functionality, and a new Home app for controlling smart home devices.
